1. Credit card safety


You should always ensure that any internet transaction you make is secured by checking that the padlock sign or ‘https’ is displayed in your browser URL panel when making payments or providing financial or payment details.

To prevent fraud, your payment card information is never stored or recorded in LoveFromTheArtists’ databases. This website is hosted by Transarnia Ltd;  any personal information including passwords is protected by encryption tools and SSL certification.


 2. Use of Personal Information


 We do not retain any information you provide to us for longer than is necessary to  process your order, process your payment and manage any enquiries or problems you  may have with your order.  Our databases are continually maintained and regularly  updated. 

We use cookies on our website in order to ensure that our records are accurate and to  provide you with the best service.  Cookies are placed on your computer so that we  can recognise you when you visit our website.  If you do not wish to be identified  through these cookies you can disable the function by following the instructions  provided by your browser.

We take security very seriously at Love From The Artist and we want our customers  to feel comfortable using our website. We respect your right to privacy and will only  process personal information you provide to us in accordance with the Data Protection  Act 1998, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations  2003 and other applicable privacy laws.


We may wish to contact you from time to time with new offers and product lines and  other marketing information using email addresses you may have provided to us in  the course of visiting our website.  If you do not wish to receive these email messages  please either use the opt in/out buttons where provided in Your Account or use the  Contact Us page to  request the removal of your details from our mailing lists, allowing 28 days for us to amend our records.


We may share your details with carefully selected third party businesses in whose  products or services we think you may be interested.  If you do not wish your details  to be passed on to any other party please do let us know, allowing 28 days for us to  amend our records or using the opt/in out buttons where provided.

By visiting or by placing an order on this website, you confirm that you have read these terms and conditions and agree to adhere to them in their entirety. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions you must not use this website. These terms and conditions apply to the use of www.LoveFromTheArtist.com.


1. Introduction


We hope you enjoy viewing the selection of Artists and the designs and products they choose to sell through Love From The Artist. We will do all we can to ensure you have an enjoyable shopping experience and that you are completely happy with your order.


2. Ordering from us


Product descriptions


We are responsible for making sure that every product offered on LoveFromTheArtist is shown accurately, and to check that all prices shown are correct. While we are not responsible for the products or content displayed or offered for sale by originators on our site, we will try to ensure that warnings are provided if such product or content are considered to be of an ‘adult’ context.


Placing your order


Once you have placed an order with us (by choosing an item and completing our online checkout process) we will show a summary of your order and provide you with a customer order number.


Our acceptance of your order becomes effective when it is despatched. A ‘purchase contract’ between you and LoveFromTheArtist is therefore made at the point of despatch, rather than at the point of payment.  If you fail to complete the checkout process, or cancel your order or if we notify you that we cannot accept your order, then no purchase contract will have been made between you and LoveFromTheArtist.


We may not be able to accept an order if the following occurs:


1.we cannot obtain authorization for your payment


2.you do not meet any eligibility criteria set out in our terms and conditions


3. you have not obtained the necessary explicit permission to use any material or information where copyright is owned elsewhere.
Please note: Any order you place with us which contains uploaded content which is or is deemed to be threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, offensive, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, or inflammatory, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or copyright or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience may not be processed. Neither LoveFromTheArtist nor our suppliers will  be responsible for any refund or replacement at our cost, nor will we be liable for any consequential claim for loss or damages or any other action which may be taken by any party as a result of a breach of this condition.


Cancellations


You may cancel an order at any time before despatch by using the Contact Us pages on this website.  Please mark your communication ‘Urgent’ since we aim to produce and despatch products immediately upon confirmation of your order.


Personalised products cannot be cancelled or accepted for return and refund once an order has been confirmed.


3.Personalising your card or product


So that we can provide you with a fast, high-quality service any products you order are processed for production immediately upon issue of your order number.  It is your responsibility to ensure that all details provided are correct, including the address and postcode you wish to use. We are not obliged to provide a refund of personalised items, nor for refund or replacement of late or non-receipt of orders where the recipient address has been misspelt or entered incorrectly by you.  You can make changes to your order before you complete the checkout process. Please check your order carefully before confirming it.


4. Payment


You will be able to access and order a product if you prefer not to register your details with us, by using the ‘Pay as a Guest’ option. We will give you the choice upon completion of your order to register with us if you wish.


For the purpose of ensuring that our Originators receive the appropriate revenue from sales they make through our website, we prefer to use Paypal as our payment processor.  This service is free to you, the customer.


5. Supply and pricing of goods


Postage and packaging charges


The prices shown on this website are shown exclusive of postage and packaging charges; these will be shown separately at the checkout stage. All products will display appropriate delivery and packaging pricing alongside the product description. 


Delivery and postage


The greetings cards sold on our website are manufactured, printed and despatched from our production facilities based in mainland United Kingdom. Once you have placed your order your card(s) will be sent as soon as possible by first class post via Royal Mail unless you choose other special delivery options which may be offered. 


You should allow at least 5 days from confirmation of order to despatch.  Mail despatched to the EU or the rest of the world can take anything between 5 to 10 working days. We cannot be held responsible for any delays or disruption to postal deliveries which are out of the control of LoveFromTheArtist. 


Some items offered through LoveFromTheArtist may be packed and despatched direct from the manufacturer or originator of the product.  If this is the case, you will be advised directly by the supplier of estimated delivery times and costs, and packaging costs.


Using the correct postcode is important to ensure prompt delivery. We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that delivery addresses are adequate but we cannot be held responsible for errors in the supply of such information by you.

 

6. Refund & Returns


We will always despatch your order in perfect condition but occasionally a problem can arise. In the unlikely event that an order is faulty, or it is damaged in production or is found to be the wrong item, we ask you to Contact Us within 14 days of receipt to let us know of the problem. Use the Contact Us tab at the top of the website home page.


We will agree with you as to whether you are entitled to a refund or a direct replacement of your order. Refunds cannot be given if the fault is a result of your own actions such as product misuse, incorrect address or if personalization is misspelt.  Please note personalised products cannot be accepted for return unless the fault is found to be of our making.


We aim to acknowledge any complaint within 14 working days, and will do our best to resolve it within 30 days. We may ask you to take a photograph of the product or – for non-personalised products - send it back to us to help us take up the issue with our suppliers and avoid any future problems. Should it be necessary, we will then advise you how to return your item.  


If you are entitled to a refund, we will reimburse the price you have paid for the product and postage/delivery costs.  Alternatively, we may offer to reprint or replace the product free of any charge. Please note it is not our policy to offer both a refund and replacement.


7. Use of the website


Abuse of service


You agree not to use LoveFromTheArtist.com directly or indirectly for any unlawful purpose, or to cause distress or offence to any person. You also agree not to use any copyrighted material without the express permission of the owner.


Intellectual Property Rights


All text, software, photographs, graphics, illustrations, images, poetry, page layouts, designs, logos, copyright or other material contained on this website remains the property of the Originator at all times.  You do not have permission, except where expressly authorised to do so, to change, copy, store, publish, rent, license, sell or distribute in any way any of these intellectual property rights. You agree not to display or use copyright material in any manner without prior written consent.


Website content and service access


We will always try to ensure that our service is available 24 hours a day. We will not be held liable for any reason if the website is unavailable at any time, or for any period.
