About : Caroline Walsh-Waring - Artist based in Stratford-upon-Avon

About me:

Caroline lives just outside Stratford-upon-Avon with her husband, 2 dogs and an elderly cat. Her children having "left home".

After studying at Art College in Norfolk through necessity she worked in other areas for around 20 years eventually beginning her art practice when giving up work for children. She has built a wide reputation for surreal paintings with a hint of fun and thoughtfulness. Throughout she has maintained her determination to create one-off unique pieces in oil, ink and pencil, from her heart. She is often inspired by the surrealness of nature and how it demonstrates to us the spontenaity of life and how we should treat each barrier as a challenge. She aims to inspire people with hope, strength and the ability to laugh at life.
