About me:

Born on the outskirts of Liverpool, Jo started drawing as soon as she could hold a pencil.

After marrying a Welshman, she made North Wales her home, where she has lived for more than a decade.

Before returning to her first love of art, Jo spent over 25 years running her own portrait photography business.

Her artwork is hand-drawn using ink and markers, often enhanced with coloured pencils. She loves sketching on location and working from her own travel photographs.

Today, she combines her lifelong passion for drawing with a love of observing and capturing the character of places. She occasionally includes people and animals in her work, particularly when depicting them in action.
