About : Art by Joanne Simpson - based in Derbyshire

About me:

I live in the beautiful Peak District in Derbyshire with my husband and our furry family. I have been a professional pet portrait artist since 2005, working with pastels creating realistic and detailed pet portraits. I am a founder member of Pet Portrait Artists UK.

I have always had a love for art, animals and nature. I have dabbled with watercolours over the years and some of my older scenic work now makes up a selection of my cards. I have added some more recent colourful watercolour work including pet breeds and flowers.
