I've always loved drawing and completed a degree in Arts and Humanities at De-Montfort University in 1993. Since then my passion for bright fresh colours and interest in stained glass has led me to experiment with design and pattern. Having worked in The Stained Glass Museum in Ely Cathedral for the past 6 years my influences are many and varied; from the brilliant colours and patterns of the medieval glass artists to the elegant forms and decoratif motifs of the Pre-Raphaelites.
My involvement with the local rowing club and my daily dog walks along the river Ouse have influenced my more recent designs. Herons, cattle and geese usually find their way into my paintings.
I also love dogs and take commissions for pet portraits in soft pastel. Please see my website for details.
